Dressing Blades
As electrodes are used the weld face deforms from the original shape. As the weld face grows, the current density from the weld decreases which may lead to cold welds or low quality welds. Dressing the tip when the face has worn is critical to maintaing quality welds.
Tip Dressings blades are the cutting tool used to reshape the face of the electrode. The blades are designed to work with CMW's Pneumatic Dressing Tool. The blades can also be used on a lathe or drill with the 3/8 Stud Chuck Adapter.
